Armstrong, a farmer, speaks of her upbringing, her job in Sydney as a nurse, the fruit farm she manages with her husband, the Orange Export Co-operative, the exportation of fruits to South-East Asia, improvement of the fruits to satisfy an international market using more modern technology, the Integrated Pest Management programs, the Apple and Pear Corporation, her striving for equality between the sexes, her husband’s involvement in industry groups and the cycle of harvesting of the various fruits she owns.
