Summary

A member of the Australian Labor Party, Helen Buckingham was elected as the Member for Koonung Province in the Legislative Council of the Victorian Parliament in 2002. Before her election to parliament, she served on the Nunawading Council from 1997-2003, and as mayor from 1998-99. She retired from parliament in November 2006.
