Shirley Grigg has been a prominent member of and worker for the Christian Democrat Party under all its names. She represented them (then known as the Call to Australia party) in the following elections:
New South Wales Legislative Assembly for Blue Mountains in 1991 and 1999.
New South Wales Senate in 1993.
House of Representatives for Chifley in 1996.
House of Representatives for Macquarie in 1998.
