Tang, Annie

Summary

Annie Tang ran for election to Parliament only once, but has been a successful local councillor. As an Independent she failed to be elected to the New South Wales Legislative Assembly seat of Georges River in 1999. However, that same year Annie was elected to the Kogarah Council and has been re-elected to serve until 2007. In 2005 she was appointed Deputy Mayor and was the Chairperson of the Community Services and Access Working Parties of the Kogarah Council.
