Summary

A member of the Australian Labor Party, Marjorie Henzell was elected to the House of Representatives of the Australian Parliament as the Member for Capricornia, Queensland, at the 1993 election. She remained in Parliament for one term only as she was defeated at the 1996 election, when the Labor Government lost power after a period of thirteen years in office.
