Summary

A member of the Australian Labor Party, Ruth Webber was elected as a Senator for Western Australia in the Senate of the Australian Parliament in 2001. She served as Deputy Opposition Whip from 2004-08. She was defeated at the 2007 election, with her term expiring in June 2008.
