Summary

A member of the Australian Labor Party, Lesley Clark was elected to the Parliament of Queensland as representative for the electorate of Barron River in 1989. She was defeated at the 1995 election, but was elected again in 1998 and remained in the parliament until her retirement in September 2006. Before entering the state parliament, she served as a local government councillor for the Shire of Mulgrave from 1985-90.
