Summary

Christine Clark worked both within the Woman's Christian Temperance Union and the Western Australian Woman's Franchise League, which she helped to form in April 1899, to gain the franchise for women in Western Australia. She held the position of secretary of the West Australian Woman's Christian Temperance Union from 1892 to 1897 and that of woman suffrage superintendent from 1897 to 1899.
