Summary

Daisy Weeks served as a councillor on the Alexandra Shire Council, Victoria from 1940-61 and held the position of Shire President in 1954. In 1956 she was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire for her service as a shire councillor. The Shire was abolished in 1994 and the area now forms part of the Shire of Murrindindi.
