Summary

Jenny Fouracres was nominated for the 1997 A.B.C. Rural Woman of the Year Award, for the Southwest district of Western Australia.

At the time of her nomination, Jenny was a partner in the family beef property where she had the sole responsibility for Limousin stud breeding bulls. She had been the Director of the Australian Limousin Breeder Society for the five years previous, and was the only female executive member of the Beef Improvement Association in Western Australia. She taught Animal Husbandry, Animal Care and Horticulture at the local high school where she set up an Agriculture Wing.
