Janet Denham was the State winner of the ABC Rural Woman if the Year Award for Victoria in 1996.

She was raised in the Wimmera district in Victoria and at the time of winning the award on a 23 hectare citrus farm north of Wentworth near the Victorian, South Australian and NSW border.

They have been accredited as 'A' grade Organic Growers by the National Association for Sustainable Agriculture Australia.(NASAA).
