Summary

Lyn Walker was the Northern Territory Winner of the ABC Rural Woman of the Year Award for 1995.

At the time of her award, Lyn and her husband Graham ran one of the most successful mango export operations in the Northern Territory, handling 10% of the Northern Territory crop.

She was Lyn is passionate about the export industry and believed if more territorians took it seriously, the potential for success was enormous. She was the first person to initiate grower meetings and achieved unity amongst the growers which contributed to building a successful export market.
