Jayde Taylor war born in Perth and began playing hockey when she was thirteen years old. She went on to represent Australia at the Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, Women's Hockey World Cup and the Women's Hockey Champions Trophy. Tayor retired from international hockey in 2015.
