Summary

Kim Mickle joined a junior athletics club when she was six years old and began competing at thirteen. After competing in javelin in junior championships in 2001 and 2002, she went on to represent Australia at the Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games and IAAF (International Association of Athletics Federations) competitions.
