Summary

Daphne Barrett gained distinction as an educator in Victorian Government secondary schools. She was principal of the MacRobertson Girls' High School from 1955 until her retirement in 1965. She served also on the Victorian Universities and Schools Examination Board. She was appointed Member of the Order of Australia on 11 June 1966 for her services to education in Victoria.
