Nadine Williams was a key member of environmental groups CANE (Campaign Against Nuclear Energy) and later WANE (Women Against Nuclear Energy) and instrumental in its formation in the 1980s. She was also associated with Feminist Anti-Nuclear Group (FANG) and People for Peace.
