Details
Ursula Bennett migrated to Australia in 1982, after a childhood in Germany, where, as a teenager, she was active in human rights and advocacy groups for the physically handicapped. She became a Christian in 1985 and an Australian citizen in 1986. Ursula campaigned on a platform to bring a bible-based worldview on legislation to the NSW Parliament. She is married and has seven children.
