Summary
A belief that education can transform lives is central to Sanaa Ghabbar’s philosophy. She ran as an Australian Greens Party candidate in the New South Wales Legislative Assembly for Bankstown in 2003.
Details
Sanaa originally trained to teach English, but then did a degree in Mathematics and English as a second language (BA, B Teach). She has lived in the electorate for 11 years at the time of her campaign.
She has been active in the area of human rights and freedom from discrimination and she spoke against the war in Iraq.
