Details

Susan Harben was born in Balranald in country NSW and educated in Wagga at the Riverina CAE (Dip.Tchg.), now Charles Sturt University, and the University of NSW (BA). She was the Equal Opportunity Co-ordinator for the NSW Department of Education from 1983 to 1987. From 1987 to 1993 she was the Co-ordinator, Policy and Research and later Manager, Corporate Services at the Legal Aid Commission of NSW.

Susan was involved in the Parents and Citizens Association at her son’s school and was President of the Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras for two years.
