Summary
Pam McGregor was nominated for the 1997 A.B.C. Rural Woman of the Year Award, for the South Coast district of Western Australia.
Pam McGregor has farmed in partnership with her husband, Jim, in the Denbarker area of the Southern Coastal region of Western Australia since 1973. At the time of her nomination they were farming some 2000 acres, producing predominantly beef and wool, with pure bred Angus bulls and females.
Pam was a Federal councillor, President of WISALTS (Whittington Interceptor Sustainable Agriculture Treatment Society) and former president of Mt Barker & District Agricultural Society Inc, the Secretary/Treasurer of the Wine Show Committee as well as Secretary and Treasurer of the Great Southern Wine producers Association.
