Description
The bulk of the collection dates from about 1919-1959. There is a scrapbook, notes, letters, publications and art catalogues relating to Vida Lahey’s life and work, and to art in general. The scrapbook contains photographs, and also some original sketches and watercolours, executed mainly during the artist’s travels in Europe after the first World War. The notes are chiefly travel notes written during the same period.
