Family history material contains the manuscript of Spencer’s memoir, research notes, family photographs, academic transcripts and conferred degrees, writings, memorial orders of service, correspondence and newspaper clippings. People represented in a notable way within the collection include Trevor Cumpston, Terence Spencer and John Howard Lidgett Cumpston.
