The letters and cards in this series are mostly of a personal nature and deal with many subjects and activities. Letters that deal entirely with a specific organisation or activity have been placed in the appropriate series. The letters in Series 1 were originally scattered through the collection, many of them being in a number of overlapping concertina files.
