Online Exhibitions

With thousands of individual entries in the Register, online exhibitions highlight particular groups of women. These range from recipients of Imperial Honours to smaller groupings of leaders: in the Jewish and disability communities, in the academic study of political science, rural women and those who have stood for parliament, for example. Women in places including the Western Australian goldfields, Broken Hill and the ACT are showcased, as are scientists, philanthropists and journalists, among others.

The range of exhibition themes often reflects the availability of grant funding. The Australian Research Council, Commonwealth, state and local governments, charitable trusts and unions have supported specific projects; as have some individual donors.
