Dr Heron Loban is a Senior Lecturer at the Griffith law School. She is a Torres Strait Islander woman with family connections to Mabuiag and Boigu. She is admitted to practice as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory, Supreme Court of Queensland and of the High Court of Australia. Her research interests are Indigenous legal issues and consumer law.
