Heather Nancarrow is Director of the Queensland Centre for Domestic and Family Violence Research at Central Queensland University. Her previous roles include Deputy Chair, Violence against Women Advisory Group (2009-2011) and Chair, Queensland Ministerial Advisory Council on Domestic and Family Violence (2008-2009). In 2009, she won the Queenslander of the Year Community Spirit Award.
