This website commemorates and celebrates the ways in which women have participated in the life of Canberra both as individuals and through community organisations. It examines both local involvement and the ways in which many women, based in Canberra, have made significant contributions at the national level.
This exhibition is a project of the National Foundation for Australian Women, in collaboration with the University of Melbourne, as part of the Foundation's ongoing initiative, the Australian Women's Archives Project.
